Frequently asked about pricing
Do you require a contract or membership fee?
No. You pay per session, or in blocks of sessions if you prefer to pre-pay (small discount available). No monthly fees, no joining fees.
How much should personal training cost in NZ?
Across NZ, one-on-one PT typically ranges from NZD $60–$120 per hour. Rates in the Waikato are usually toward the lower end of that range, especially outside the main centres. I aim to be fair on price without being so cheap that I have to over-book and rush.
Is PT worth the cost?
It depends entirely on whether you'll actually use it. If you've already tried YouTube videos, gym memberships and apps and they haven't stuck — yes, PT is genuinely worth it because the cost is the accountability and the coaching. If you're someone who self-trains consistently and just wants a program — you might be better off with a written program and the occasional check-in session.
What if I can't make a session?
24-hour notice means no charge and we reschedule. Less than 24 hours, the session still counts — that's standard, and it's what keeps the schedule sustainable for everyone.
Do you do online coaching?
Not currently. All training is in-person — Matamata, Morrinsville, Te Aroha, or by arrangement for the wider Waikato.
